TG Hospitality hosts African Union Day reception in Accra

TG Hospitality Group hosted an African Day Diplomatic Cocktail Reception at its White Restaurant & Garden venue in Accra on the eve of African Union Day, drawing ambassadors, high commissioners, heads of international organisations and industry leaders.

The event was designed as a prelude to AU Day, celebrating African unity, cooperation and cultural understanding.

Edmond Moukala, Head of Office and Representative to UNESCO for Ghana, delivered the keynote address. He spoke of Ghana's leadership in African unity and issued a call for educational excellence, scientific innovation and cultural preservation as pillars for the continent's progress.

"In all aspects, let's show how Africa can really bring change and make this continent the greatest of all," Moukala said. His remarks received a standing ovation.

Tunde Macaulay, Group Managing Director of TG Holdings, said the reception reflected the company's commitment to creating spaces where relationships can grow and cultures can interact.

"Some of the most meaningful connections are built in moments like these - over conversation, over music, over shared experiences," Macaulay said.

TG Hospitality Group is a Ghanaian hospitality company operating White Restaurant & Garden, Soho Bar & Restaurant, Luna Rooftop Bar and the Best Western Plus Accra Beach Hotel.
