Transport fares increased by 15% from Monday

The road transport operators in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport have sanction a 15% increment in transport fares effective Monday, July 14.

This is according to a press statement signed by the general secretary of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), Stephen K. Okudzeto and General Secretary of the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC), Alhaji Aliu Baba.
The new transport fares cover Intra-City (Trotro), Inter-City (Long Distance) and taxi Cabs.
