Two dead, dozens injured in Bolga chieftaincy clashes

At least two people have died with dozens injured following renewed chieftaincy clashes on Saturday at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
The injured persons are receiving treatment at the Bolgatanga Hospital whilst the dead bodies have been deposited at the morgue, according to a report by Accra based radio station, Joy FM.

Some residents are said to be afraid of a reprisal attack.
The police in the Region have stepped up security in the area to prevent an escalation of violence.
