Two dead, six injured in Tamale–Kintampo Highway crash

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in Buipe has confirmed the death of two persons following a road crash at Mile Forty on the Tamale–Kintampo highway.
The accident, involved a Kia truck loaded with groundnuts and carrying eight passengers. The vehicle veered off the road and collided with an oncoming trailer.
A GNFS rescue team rushed to the scene, where they managed to save six people. Two others, however, were confirmed dead on the spot.
The injured and deceased victims were handed over to the police.
