Western North: One person fire outbreak at Sefwi Adjoafua

Firefighters from the Debiso Fire Station responded to a domestic fire outbreak at Sefwi Adjoafua in the Bia West District on Saturday, February 14.

The fire claimed the life of a 70-year-old visually impaired man, Kwasi Nkansah, and destroyed a two-bedroom residence with a kitchen.

The GNFS received a distress call at 2:06 pm,  and arrived at the scene at 2:30 pm despite challenges including heavy rainfall, poor visibility, and bad road networks.
