"This election is very important for the future of our country. But the most important is the peace of this country," Dr. Bawumia remarked, urging all political actors to conduct their campaigns in a manner that safeguards the nation’s stability. He also called for prayers from the religious community to support this goal.
Expressing his strong belief in divine guidance, the NPP flagbearer asked the congregants to pray for him and his party’s parliamentary candidate, Jerry, seeking divine favor for their success.
"Unless the Lord builds the house, we will labor in vain. This is why I put God first in everything I do, because as Jesus Christ said, with God, all things are possible," Dr. Bawumia concluded, reaffirming his faith in the power of God.
