Akufo-Addo lucky; Anas nearly disgraced him and NDC would’ve twisted it – Agyapong
But for God's intervention, ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, would have exposed and disgraced President Akufo-Addo with his Number12 documentary on football corruption, Mr Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central has observed.

On the political talk programme Thursday night, he called on NPP members to rally behind and support him [Agyapong] in the fight against Anas and that when a member of the NDC [a doctor] who knows the truth recently offered to defend former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, the NDC summoned him to the party headquarters and advised him to stay away since Nyantakyi was an NPP man.

Per the information and evidence I have gathered, if President Akufo-Addo after watching the video, became scared and tried to influence Anas with money, the journalist would have disgraced him, the NPP maverick lawmaker said
“He [Anas] was going to show the thing to Nana, to put fear in him so that Nana Addo will pay, but the man [Nana Addo] didn’t” falter,’ he alleged.

He insisted $150,000 was demanded from Kwesi Nyantakyi because a friend from Roman Ridge [Accra] approached him [Nyantakyi] and said Anas was ready to drop the documentary if he paid him, “I dare Anas and Kweku Baako to come out and deny this,”

He insisted he [Agyapong] has his reputation on the line and that if he had no evidence to back his outbursts against Anas, he would have kept quiet.
He said throughout his recent international trip through America and other areas, “everybody is waiting for 'Who watches the watchman'.”
