"Dr. Bawumia is a decent politician, and he has demonstrated that throughout his political career, especially now as a Presidential Candidate," Prof. Sikanku stated. "He is decent in the way he communicates and handles situations, even when provoked, and this has helped to reduce tension in the country."
Prof. Sikanku emphasised that Dr. Bawumia's respectful tone has reshaped Ghana's political discourse, setting a positive example for others to follow.
"What the leader does, his tone is very important, and Dr. Bawumia has changed the political landscape by demonstrating consistent decency," Prof. Sikanku noted.
The lecturer also commended Dr. Bawumia for his hard work, citing several impactful initiatives led by him during his tenure as Vice President.
Drawing parallels with former United States Vice President Walter Mondale, who transformed the largely ceremonial role of the Vice President into an influential one, Prof. Sikanku hailed Dr. Bawumia as Ghana's most impactful Vice President.
