Collation chaos: Dome-Kwabenya counting to restart from beginning after 2-hour delay
Collation of both presidential and parliamentary votes in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency is set to resume after a two-hour interruption caused by a disagreement between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over certain pink sheets.
The dispute temporarily halted the collation process but officials are now expected to restart the exercise from the beginning.

This development comes amid a closely contested election in the constituency, traditionally a stronghold of the NPP, but now facing a strong challenge from the NDC.
Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, confirmed after a meeting with Electoral Commission officials at the collation centre that the process would restart from the beginning.
He stated that the NDC had already won the seat, and the fresh collation would merely confirm this.
He further noted that the NDC had already secured about 26 seats in the Greater Accra Region due to their hard work and the confidence Ghanaians had placed in their proposed 24-hour economy initiative.
The collation centre has been crowded with many constituents, believed to be NDC sympathisers.
