Bantama MP urges constituents to keep govt in power
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama, Mr Daniel Okyem Aboagye, has stated that the development of the country is hinged on stability and consistency in government.
He said the ruling party needed stability in government to enable it to execute its development policies and programmes because any sudden change of government would disturb that development trajectory.
Mr Aboagye made the remarks at a town hall meeting at Bantama in the Ashanti Region last Sunday.

Bantama development
The Bantama Constituency is the 'World Bank' of the NPP in terms of the huge votes it offers to the NPP in elections.
In the 2016 election, Bantama secured 88.4 per cent votes for the NPP, which was the highest percentage obtained by the party in that election. It has 10 electoral areas and 114 polling stations.
Mr Aboagye said he had embarked on a number of development projects and social activities since winning the seat in the 2016 election.
He mentioned the award of educational scholarships, the construction of roads and clean-up exercises as some of the projects and activities.
