Christian Council of Ghana declares one-week fasting and prayer ahead of December polls

The Christian Council of Ghana has declared a week of non-denominational fasting and prayer, starting Wednesday, November 25 to Sunday, November 29, 2020.
The programme which will be held in churches across the country aims at praying for peaceful elections in Ghana.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the General Secretary of the Council, Rev Dr. Cyril G.K Fayose in Accra.

The prograqmme will be under the theme “Seek peace and pursue it” (1st Peter 3:11) and will be climaxed with a peace rally across the country.
All Christians in Accra will gather at the Perez Dome while those in the other regions will gather at a church auditorium in their respective regions for the rally.
