2020 elections will be peaceful - Apostle Attah K. Gyebi
Contrary to prophesies by some pastors that this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections will be chaotic, Kumasi-based Apostle Attah K. Gyebi of the House of Jacob Church says the elections will be peaceful and incident free.
Speaking with The Mirror from his Kumasi base last Friday, Apostle Gyebi said nobody should put fear in Ghanaians about the upcoming elections, “Everything will be very peaceful, there will be no bloodshed as some pastors have sought to make people believe”.
“It will be free, fair and peaceful devoid of any chaos, that is what the good Lord has revealed to me so people should stop instilling fear in the citizenry about any impending bloodshed,” he stated.

“Then again, I want all men of God, pastors, apostles, prophets, general overseers to pray and watch around because God has committed the nation into our hands, at the end of the day, God’s name will be glorified because there will be total peace in the land”.
According to Apostle Gyebi, there were men of God who were constantly praying for the nation, “Because these men of God are also committing the nation into God’s hands, peace will prevail in the land and the glory of God and His peace will manifest among His people.
He encouraged everyone to pray and seek the face of God, “Just pray and seek the face of God and the elections will be peaceful, nothing untoward will happen in this country because the hand of God is on the land,” he stressed.
Apostle Gyebi, whose church is located at Krofuom in Kumasi, used the opportunity to encourage all Ghanaians to abide by the COVID-19 safety protocols as the pandemic was still around, “we are not out of the pandemic yet so please ensure that you abide by all the safety protocols put together by the government and the World Health Organisation.
“Wash your hands with soap under running water, use alcohol-based hand sanitisers, observe social distancing and remember to wear your masks at all times,” he concluded.
