He ,therefore, called on Ghanaians to allow unity to be their watchword.

That, he stressed, could guarantee the accelerated growth and development of the country

The Presiding Bishop gave the advice when he commissioned 42 new ministers into the church's ministry at a special service held at the Old-Tafo Wesley Methodist Chapel in Kumasi.

He expressed concern about the over politicisation of development issues, which he described as counter-productive to socio- economic progress.

He reiterated that such negative tendency rather compounded the problem and therefore urged all to desist from it.

Most Rev. Asante further advised all to contribute their quota to enhance the development of children who are the future leaders.

Most Rev.Professor Asante further urged the new ministers to bring hope to the people and help soothe the pain of the suffering and afflicted.

He,however, told them to conform to strict church discipline and rally the congregation to support them with prayers.
