Mahama briefs Commonwealth Secretary General on why he is rejecting election results
The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President John Dramani Mahama has briefed the Secretary General of the Commonwealth on why he is rejecting the results of the 2020 elections.
Mr Mahama in a post on social media on Friday, December 18, 2020 explained that he met with the Secretary General of The Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland QC, and her team.
"Together with Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and others, we briefed the Secretary General on the basis of our position on the results declared by the Electoral Commission," Mr Mahama posted.

The NDC says it is rejecting the declaration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the winner of the presidential polls by the Electoral Commission (EC) because it says the declaration was flawed.
