According to him, compulsory education was a means of giving opportunity to every Ghanaian child to reach their human potential and live a quality life.

Dr Nduom, in a Facebook post noted that the word ‘compulsory’ was the missing key in education policy implementation and, therefore, called on President John Dramani Mahama and main opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo and other presidential aspirants to support compulsory education.

“Talking expanding access’ or ‘free SHS’ will not do. Our 1992 constitution supports compulsory education and that is in good order,” he said.

According to him, Ghanaians must support compulsory education and push for its full implementation so that every child can read, write, count, and reason for themselves.
