NDC will reopen major corruption cases under Akufo-Addo’s government - Ablakwa
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it will investigate what it describes as "scandals" under President Akufo-Addo’s administration, promising to hold those responsible accountable and recover misappropriated funds.
At a press briefing on Tuesday [September 3] on the NDC manifesto, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, said the party’s anti-corruption strategy will be revisiting major controversies such as the COVID-19 expenditure, the Agyapa deal, and other high-profile cases.

“We will launch inquiries into the numerous scandals that have rocked the nation under the corrupt Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/NPP government. These inquiries shall include investigations into Ghana’s COVID-19 management and expenditures and the SML, ‘Agyapa’, Maths Sets, PDS, Sky Train, Pwalugu Dam, ‘Appearance Fees’, Ambulance Spare Parts scandals, illegal sole-sourced contracts scandals, among others,” he stated.
