During the visit, Nana Kataninsurodja I, the Mankrado (chief installer) of Akpafu Todzi and Head Mankrado of the Akpafu Traditional Area, delivered a speech encouraging the youth to embrace traditional leadership as a means of fostering community and national development.
The esteemed traditional leader also urged political representatives to prioritize the swift development of the communities, particularly in areas such as roads, markets, schools, water, electricity, and other essential social services.
He emphasized the importance of politicians avoiding the temptation to lure people with money or other offers, engaging in empty promises, and instead urged them to maintain close connections with their constituents even after being elected. This, he stated, would ensure that the welfare of the masses took precedence over personal gain.
In his brief address, Mr. Osibo expressed his recognition of the vital role played by traditional leaders in development and made an unwavering commitment to the comprehensive advancement of the Guan constituency, a commitment for which he is widely known.
