NPP Savannah: Prof Kalmonia re-elected as chairman

The Incumbent Savannah Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Iddrisu Sulemana had a smooth sail in the regional executive elections.
In the contest which appeared to be a one man race, Alhaji Sulemana popularly called Prof Kalmonia, garnered 112 votes as against 60 votes polled by his contender Abass Azumah.
In his victory speech, Alhaji Sulemana said he would work hard to consolidate the gains made and improve on the fortunes of the party in the 2024 general elections.
