PNC wishes Muslims well

Alhaji Ahmed RamadanThe People’s National Convention (PNC) has extended good felicitations to all Muslims and Ghanaians in general as they celebrate Eid-Dul-Adha today.
In a special message, the National Chairman of the PNC, Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan, said that the period of Eid was a festival of sacrifice and that it was incumbent on all to sacrifice for the needy and share with those who do not have in the society.

According to Alhaji Ramandan, the nation must be grateful to Almighty Allah for his continued mercies and peace on the land.

He said that having seen this country go through the dicey 2012 election petition in peace, it was important to be grateful to Allah as the nation celebrated Eid-ul-Adha.

He expressed the hope that the spirit of togetherness would continue to prevail for continued progress and development.

He challenged practising Muslims to adhere to the teachings of Muhammed saying “when you obey commandments of Allah, you will certainly do the will of Ghanaians and care for each other.”

He said peace and respect for authority were all essentials in the act of obeying God’s commandments.
