The Togolese President, Mr Faure Essozimna Gnassingbés yesterday visited the tombs of former President Dr Kwame Nkrumah and President John Evans Atta Mills in Accra.
Mr Gnassingbé laid wreaths on both tombs in remembrance of the two departed Ghanaian presidents.
The ceremonies at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and the Asomdwee Park, where the mortal remains of the presidents were respectively interred, were brief and solemn.
The Togolese President, who ended his three-day state visit to Ghana yesterday, bowed after laying the wreaths.
Accompanied by Ghanaian officials, Mr Gnassingbé also toured other sections of the mausoleum.
