Thank you for re-electing my sister, now it's time to build our constituency – Hannah Tetteh
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hannah Serwaa Tetteh, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Awutu Senya West Constituency for re-electing her younger sister, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui.
She acknowledged that while the process was challenging, the constituents gave their all to the campaign, ensuring the success of the National Democratic Congress.

"Good morning Ghana! Thank you Awutu Senya West Constituency for re-electing my younger sister - Honourable Gizella Tetteh- Agbotui as our Member of Parliament," she wrote on her X Account.
"This was a tough fight, and to all our Constituency Executives, Branch Executives, party supporters who put their heart and soul into this campaign, and the people of our constituency who went out to vote on Saturday, on behalf of all of my sisters and I (Hanna, Gizella, Christina and Gabriella) we thank you so very much for campaigning with us, and for all your efforts."
"Now is the time to get back to work to keep building our constituency, and on a more personal note - it’s really great to be home at this time!," she added.
Gizella Tetteh secured her re-election by defeating Eugene Arhin of the NPP. In December 2020, she was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya West Constituency under the National Democratic Congress, receiving 32,708 votes, which accounted for 51.5 per cent of the total votes cast.
She triumphed over George Andah of the New Patriotic Party, Edith Mansah Dzonyrah of the Ghana Union Movement and Samuel Yawson of the Convention People's Party in 2020.
