His stops included the Holiness Pentecostal Church in New Gbawe, the Church of Pentecost’s Mandela Assembly in New Weija, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Jerusalem Assembly, and the Church of Pentecost in Ayigbe Town, Kasoa Area.
In his addresses to the congregations, Dr. Bawumia emphasized his conviction that "it is God who installs leaders," and that "with God, all things are possible." Citing biblical references to support his point, he added, "unless the Lord builds the house, we will labor in vain."
"This is why I put God first in everything I do, because as Jesus Christ said, with God, all things are possible," Dr. Bawumia reiterated.
He also requested the prayers of the congregants for divine favor, not only for himself but also for Jerry, the NPP’s parliamentary candidate in the area.
Dr. Bawumia further called on all stakeholders to prioritize the preservation of Ghana’s peace, noting that while the 2024 election is crucial for the country’s future, the most important objective is to ensure the nation’s stability.
