Atsu named in Newcastle 2020/21 squad
Atsu who played a limited role in Steve Bruce’s set up last season had been linked with several clubs including Scottish giant, Celtic.
The 28-year-old winger is part of 32 players the team has registered for the upcoming season with Atsu expected to keep his No.30 jersey.

Following Ryan Fraser’s arrival at the St James Park this season, it is believed that the Ghana international’s chances has further been limited and was expected to part ways with Steve Bruce side.
But the winger is determined to fight for a position in the team and ensure he justify his £30,000 weekly wage with the club.
Astu who joined Newcastle United from Chelsea in 2017 on a four-your deal worth £6.5m has had very limited playing time due to an injury he sustained while playing for the Black Star during the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019.
Before signing for Newcastle, Atsu played for clubs like FC Porto, and was on loan to Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth and Spanish side, Malaga.
Newcastle are expected to begin their campaign to this season's league against West Ham on Saturday at 7pm at the London Stadium.
