2014 Group of Death; Ghana will survive if...
Frenchman Phillipe Troussier, who is experienced in coaching African countries, says Ghana has a difficult task at the 2014 World Cup but the Black Stars can overcome the ‘Group of Death’ if they believe they can defeat their opponents.
The Black Stars have been handed a tough group in the tournament to be held in Brazil where they face Germany, Portugal and the United States in Group G.
But the pundits believe the Black Stars, who are the lowest FIFA ranked team in the group, cannot scale the challenge against Germany and Portugal who are ranked second and fifth respectively.
Troussier, also known as the “White Witch Doctor,” for his magical exploits in Africa, though conceded that Ghana faced a tough task in the group, insisted that the Black Stars could triumph if they got rid of their complexes.
“Ghana in Group G with Germany, Portugal and United States and Cameroon in Group A with Brazil, Croatia and Mexico will be difficult .
“But African football has no complexes any more and they can all find reasons to dream big., he stated.
