Abedi Pele has revealed that there are no guarantees that his son Andre Ayew will remain at Olympique Marseille beyond the end of his contract when it expires this summer.
The Ghana international’s current deal runs until the end of June, and his father has acknowledged that nothing should be taken for granted.
“I have always been at the centre of talks,” the former Marseille star told LaProvence.com.
“We are going to put all of the offers proposed to us on the table but we won’t forget one key thing: Andre is here today thanks to Marseille.
“So, the first offer to consider is the one from Marseille,” Abedi said.
He went on to indicate that while an extended stay at the Stade Velodrome would be preferable, it was up to Marseille to make a favourable offer.
