Feyenoord, Okwawu qualify

Feyenoord Academy last Saturday qualified for the round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup when they beat Red Lions FC 1-0 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

At Sampa yesterday, Division One side, Okwawu United,  beat Sampa United   3-2 , while Mighty Jets beat Bolga All Stars 1-0 at Bolgatanga. 

 At the Sekondi Sports Stadium, Essipon, Metro Stars posted a 2-1 win over Tema United.

Theophilus Boah struck the opener after 18 minutes for Metro to lead 1-0 in the first half.

Precious Naawu, who took over from Boah in the first half doubled their lead after the break when he scored the second goal at the 54th minute.

Tema United pulled one back at the 74th minute through a penalty converted by Abdul Rahman Suleman.
