MTN FA Cup fireworks Sat, Sun

The MTN FA Cup hits top gear this weekend with five lower tier sides looking to upstage their premiership counterparts in some exciting Round of 16 battles.

On Saturday at the  Len Clay Stadium, at Obuasi, Ashantigold take on Division One League side, Tudu Mighty Jets, while sensational Gomoa Fetteh Feyenord Academy welcome New Edubiase United to Gomoa Fetteh in another thrilling encounter.

On Sunday, there would be four keenly-contested games including a clash between two-time losing finalists, Asante Kotoko, and Division One side, Istanbul FC, at the Baba Yara Stadium; Sekondi Hasaacas versus Bibiani Gold Stars at the Essipon Stadium, Okwawu United play host  to defending champions, Medeama SC at Nkawkaw, and an all-premiership encounter involving Berekum Chelsea and Inter Allies at the Berekum Golden City Park.
