Patrick Twumasi signs three-year deal with Hannover 96
Ghanaian forward, Patrick Twumasi, has signed a three-year deal with Germany Bundelisga 2 side Hannover 96.
Twumasi, a 26-year-old player, joined the German side from Spanish La Liga outfit Deportivo Alaves.
Speaking to the club’s official website after his signing, Twumasi described his move to Germany as a dream come true and said he was ready to help the club return to the top flight.

“I'm really happy to be here. I've always dreamt of playing in Germany and I'm happy to be part of Hannover 96 now,” Twumasi said.
Gerhard Zuber, Sport Director Hannover 96, has hailed Twumasi’s capabilities and believes his versatility would technically help the team.
“With Patrick Twumasi we get a very variable offensive player. He can play on both wing positions, but also as a central striker,” Zuber noted.
“Patrick is fast, technically adept and has always had excellent scorer scores in his previous positions,” he added.
Twumasi was loaned to the Turkish first division club Gaziantep FK last season and scored six times and five assists in the Süper Lig.
Before joining Alaves in 2018, Twumasi won five championship titles with Kazakhstan’s Astana from 2015 to 2018.
