Officials of Inter Allies believe hysterical American-born Japanese coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, has the magic wand to turn their fortunes around when he arrives this week to take charge of the club.

The 47-year-old former Accra Hearts of Oak coach will take over from Karim Zito who managed to steer the club out of relegations last season with a mandate to turn the fortunes of the Tema-based club.

Saka swerves Aduana

Aduana Stars are set to lose their influential captain Godfred Saka who has turned down a chance to lead the club to the CAF Champions League next year in preference for a lucrative deal with former African champions, Enyimba of Nigeria.

Saka was in Nigeria last week to conclude a deal with the club, having earlier hinted the Graphic Sports that he wanted a career move outside Ghana.

The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak are making frantic efforts to defuse growing agitation among the club’s supporters front after the National Chapters Committee (NCC), the umbrella body of Phobian supporters, gave the board chairman and majority shareholder, Togbe Afede XIV, a seven-day ultimatum to convene an emergency stakeholders meeting to arrest the failing fortunes of the club.

The NCC also threatened to, among other things, boycott the Ghana @ 60 return leg encounter against Asante Kotoko on Christmas eve if their requests were not adhered to.
