2015 Olympic Day tomorrow

More than 300 participants are expected to take part in the 2015 Olympic Day celebrations at the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow.

Under the theme, “Move, Learn and Discover,” the participants are expected to include the Ghana Olympic Committee ( GOC), national federations, school children and keep fit clubs and will take part in a walk from the Danquah Circle to the Accra Sports Stadium in the early hours of the day.

he activities lined up for the day include aerobics, kids’ athletics, demonstration, kids’ boxing exhibitions, among others.
Olympic Day is held annually in June by millions of people in more than 160 countries to commemorate the birth of the modern Olympic Games.

The aim of the celebration is to promote fitness, well-being while promoting the Olympic values.
