Action Chapel holds fun games
Hundreds of members and pastors of Action Chapel International on Saturday took over the Aviation Social Centre in Accra to engage in a number of fun games organised to create solidarity and strengthen family bonds in the church.
The third Inter-Departmental Games provided a fun-filled platform for eight units within the church, including children, parents and the aged, to compete in volleyball, oware, draught, basketball, five-a-side-soccer, scrabble and playing cards, with Temple Protocol and Temple Ministers showing their prowess.
At the end of the day-long merry-making interspersed with music, Temple Protocol defeated Temple Ministers on penalties to emerge victorious in the five-a-side-soccer competition.
In the scrabble competition, the Counselling department beat Temple Protocol to come out tops, while Temple Protocol beat Temple Ministers in the draught competition to place first.
In the volleyball game and playing cards Temple Ministers avenged their earlier loss by trouncing Temple Protocol in the finals to carry the day.
The Basketball event saw Youth Church defeating the Choir Department, while Counselling Department beat Children’s Department to win the Bible quiz.
