All set for McDan West Africa Open
Dr Daniel McKorley, Group Chairman of McDan shipping, Company, says this year’s McDan West Africa open will be a memorable show.
Scheduled for June 27 to July 2, the avid tennis enthusiast noted that the steady progress of the tournament since assuming an international dimension was a strong indication that the tournament had come to stay.

He announced that the prizes at stake would be increased to make the tournament more competitive.
He disclosed that plans were underway to rope in potential world class tennis players who would be paid by the shipping company.
"This year's edition, an improvement of the first two editions, is to fulfill a pledge Dr McKorley made last year in which he indicated that the tournament would be bigger this year.
"McDan tennis has come to stay, the country is blessed with so many sports talents. Not everyone has the ability to play football or engage in boxing, hence the decision to give hope and a future to our up and coming tennis players.", he stressed.
Meanwhile, Dr Mckorley, who marked his birthday last week, presented food items, toiletries and a special cash donation to the Teshie Orphanage.
