Ambassador Quarcoo wishes Stars well

Former Chairman of the Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation(GABF), Ambassador Ray Quarcoo, has urged the Black Stars to strive to defend the flag of Ghana as they take on the USA tonight in their opening Group G encounter of the 2014 World Cup in the Brazilian city of Natal.

In a statement issued in Accra yesterday, Ambassador Quarcoo stated, know that the whole nation is behind you in spirit  with prayers, fear no foe and as our national anthem admonishes, “To   defend our nation bold and strong”

He called on the players to exhibit the same passion and flair as they had done in the past two editions of the World Cups to subdue the USA.
