Black Stars skipper, Andre Ayew marked his 110th cap for the national team during their friendly game against Switzerland at Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
The 34-year-old who made his international debut for the Black Stars in August 21, 2007 coming on as a substitute against Senegal in a friendly game in France.
The Al Sadd SC player becomes the nation’s most capped player having overtaken Asamoah Gyan who held the record with 98 caps.
Andre has scored 23 goals from the 110 appearances for the country and he is the seventh all-time top scorer of the national team.
