Basigi names 25 Queens for All Africa Games

Coach Yussif Basigi has announced a list of 25 Black Queens players to report for camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at 4 p.m. on Monday to finalise preparations towards the 2015 All Africa Games.

The invited players include the foreign-based trio of Elizabeth Addo (FTC Labdarugo, Hungary), Linda Eshun and Samira Suleman, both of Yikingur FC of Iceland.

The fouth edition of All Africa Games women's football tournament is set for Brazzaville from September 3-18, with the Ghana senior women’s team being the losing finalists at the last edition in Maputo in 2011.

The Queens are drawn in Group B and will open their campaign against the Lady Pharaohs of Egypt before facing South Africa and title holders Cameroun.
