Basketball: Coaches undergo training

Twenty basketball coaches have undergone a level one technical course organised by the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) in conjunction with the Olympic Solidarity of the International Olympic Committee.

The two-week course which ended last Friday at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium was conducted by Senegalese basketball expert, Seydou Sano, an Olympic Solidarity course instructor.

Participants were taught theoretical and practical lessons in the sport as the rules of the game were introduced to participants.

The Secretary General of the GOC, Richard Akpokavie, tasked participants to positively impact on the sport.
