Bayern Munich were given a bolt from the blue last week as they saw their hopes of making it through to the semi-finals dented with a chastening 3-1 defeat at the Estadio do Dragao.
Coach Pep Guardiola said he was unsurprised by the loss, but added that the tie remained far from over.
Bayern's defeat in the first leg was their second in six Champions League matches. In total, they have won three of their last six games in Europe.
The Bayern players would be aware that they did themselves no favours during a disastrous first leg, but the tie is certainly still alive. An early goal would change the whole tone of the encounter, while the team's passionate fans are also sure to play a big part in the Allianz Arena.
Despite their rich history in the Champions League, Porto provided much of the footballing world with a shock last week and must work the magic to overturn that loss.
The last time that the Portuguese outfit reached the semi-finals of the tournament was back in 2004 when they famously lifted the trophy under Jose Mourinho, but they have been in sensational form since the start of 2015, winning 13 of their last 16 games. More recently, they have put together four consecutive victories in all competitions.
