Black Stars move up in latest FIFA ranking

The Black Stars of Ghana have moved up to 36th place in the latest FIFA men’s ranking released today. The Stars moved up a single place from 37th to 36th in the rankings but remained in third place in the African rankings, behind Algeria and Cote d'Ivoire.

Meanwhile, Copa America losing finalists Argentina kept their strangle-hold at the top of the FIFA rankings with Belgium, Colombia, Germany and Sopa America winners Chile completing the top five in that order.

Euro 2016 winners, Portugal moved to sixth place while losing finalists France placed seventh.
