Boost for All Africa Games campaign

Ghana's All Africa Games (AAG) campaign yesterday received a timely boost when Mobile Water Limited and De United Food Industries Ghana Limited presented the team with products worth GH¢15,000.

De United Food Industries Ghana Limited, producers of Indomie Noodles, presented the team with products worth GH¢5000 while Mobile Water Limited provided the team with cartons of Vaettel Mineral Water worth GH¢10,000.

Presenting the cartons of Indomie at a ceremony at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, the Brands Manager of Indomie, Shine Akiem Torsoo ,urged Team Ghana to give their best when the competition got underway on September 4 in Congo Brazzaville.

The CEO of Mobile Water Limited, Magnus Nunoo, said he was confident other corporate bodies would join to motivate the athletes to win more medals.

The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, who received the items on behalf of Team Ghana lauded the donors for their support and expressed the hope that the gesture would inspire other spirited members of Corporate Ghana to offer their support.

“I will take this opportunity to urge corporate bodies to use Ghana's All Africa Games campaign to market their products to the whole of Africa”, he stated.

The minister also took the opportunity to visit the Golden Rackets, Black Cranes, Black Spikers and the Black Loopers who were training at the stadium.
