Boxing: Patrick Allotey turns himself into Police after assaulting fan

WBO Africa Super Welterweight champion, Patrick Allotey is in custody after turning himself into the Ministries Police Station on Friday.
The Police were on the hunt for Allotey after he was captured in a viral video pummeling a football fan.

Allotey who has apologised for his actions and accepted responsibility, turned himself into the police, accompanied by his manager after, a warrant was issued for his arrest for the incident which occurred on Sunday.
The boxer has since been transferred to the Accra Regional Police Command to assist with investigations.
Photographs have emerged on social media showing Allotey in handcuffs.
