The two undefeated brothers speaking last Thursday at a press conference held at the Wisdom boxing Gym at Palladium, Accra, stressed that the deal would help them to win world titles.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed at the press conference.

“We have not stopped boxing,” Bastie (14 wins-0 losses-1draw, 14 ko’s) but we have been off for a while because we were waiting for golden boy’s deal.

"Now by the grace of God, we have signed the deal so right now we have started preparations.

"We want to promise Ghanaians and all our fans that in one- and- half years from now, we will bring the world title to Ghana. So we will work hard, we will not sleep till we bring the world title to Ghana.

We signed the contract two months ago and golden boy will be our promoter for the next five years", Samir disclosed.

The brothers also expressed gratitude to former Black Bombers coach, Ofori Asare, who they credited with being instrumental in honing their talents.

Bastie also took advantage of the occasion to celebrate his 30th birthday by cutting a cake and popping champagne.

Bastie's last fight was over two years ago when he stopped marciano Commey at the will Power Gym while Issah (14 wins-0 losses, 12 ko’s) won the vacant wabu and national middleweight title via unanimous decision over Philip Kotey last October at the Golden Tulip hotel in Accra.
