This weekend, the premiership action continues in earnest as upstarts Dreams FC host Wa All Stars in a cagey battle for the top spot at Dawu.

Both teams go into this afternoon’s match with high expectations, having amassed seven points each in their last three encounters, with Coach C.K. Akonnor bent on snatching his second home win.

Resurgent Accra Hearts of Oak, who are seeking a third win in four matches, will welcome back their darling schemer, Samudeen Ibrahim, from injury as they host fifth-placed juggernauts Bechem United at the Accra stadium.

Japanese import, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, has surprised many skeptics with a good Phobian performance so far, and will hope to continue their winning streak against Bechem United who are yet to win away from home.

After succumbing to a humiliating 0-5 defeat at the hands of WAFA at Sogakope last Sunday, wounded Sekondi Hasaacas will hope to unleash their anger on visitng Ashgold in a bid to salvage some pride at the Essipon Stadium.

At the Berekum Golden City Park, embattled Coach David Duncan, who has come under a barrage of criticism of late, has no choice but to get a respectable result as Kumasi Asante Kotoko play as guests of Chelsea in another epic clash.

Fans of the Porcupine Warriors are fuming with rage and anything other than a win could put Duncan’s job in danger.

At Dansoman, Liberty Professionals will have a tough nut to crack as they welcome Techiman City, while Inter Allies look set to cause a lot of trouble against New Edubiase as they visit the  Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

At the Nana Agyeman Badu Park at Dormaa-Ahenkro, former champions Aduana Stars, who are now stuck at the bottom of the ladder, need a lifeline badly as they host  fourth-placed WAFA at their fortress.

Aduana, who have incidentally sacked two coaches after three games, will count on their former expatriate trainer, Aristica Cioaba, to help in their recovery effort.
