Clifford Aboagye joins Mexican side Club Tijuana

Former Ghana youth star Clifford Aboagye has become the first African player to sign for the first team of Mexican Liga MX side Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente.
Aboagye, 25, joins Club Tijuana after an impressive loan spell at Querétaro FC from Atlas FC. The club did not announce the terms or duration of the deal.
Aboagye began his career in Ghana with International Allies FC and moved to Italian Serie A side Udinese after earning the Bronze Ball at the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2013.

The diminutive midfielder later joined Spanish La Liga side Granada FC after spending only a season in Italy.
Aboagye was then loaned to Mexican side Atlas FC after two seasons with Granada FC.
He made his switch to Atlas for a reported one million euros in 2018.
