Coach Addo unfazed by lack of league
Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Herbert Addo, says his side are ready for Africa despite the lack of competitive domestic matches due to the delay in the First Capital Plus Premier League
The Phobians, who finished third last season, will play in the qualifiers of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup after Heart of Lions withdrew from the competition.

But a court case between relegated King Faisal and the Ghana Football Association has led to the 2014/2015 Premier League being put on hold.
Hearts will know their opponents when the draw is held in Cairo on December 11 but the club has been working hard for the task ahead.
“We are not really bothered and we don’t want to start making excuses because we are confident of our abilities as a team,” Addo told the media.
“I do not think that the delay in the league will have any telling effect on our performance in Africa.
“That is why the management and Board of the club have been supportive of the programmes of the technical team, and so far everything is going on smoothly.”
Hearts won the CAF Champions League in 2000 and the maiden edition of the CAF Confederation in 2004.
