Essuman wins MTN CEO Golf

The Takoradi Sports Club produced yet another surprise in the seventh edition of the MTN CEO Invitational Golf tournament when Samuel Essuman recorded a net score of 42 to win the competition.

Essuman shrugged off the challenge from other astute golfers, including Randy Abubakari Suleman and Daniel Peprah, to grab the ultimate.

Suleman finished second with a net score of 41, beating Peprah on countback in the hole-nine event.

Similarly, the competition appeared keen in the ladies category but it was lady golfer Georgina Loupiac who prevailed to record a net of 45, leaving behind Ruth Menz and Naomi Opoku, who bagged a net score of 38 and 36 respectively to finish second and third.

Abbad Reda, on behalf of the CEO of MTN, Ebenezer Asante, described the event as a huge success taking into account the platform it offered for fruitful engagement with its numerous customers.

Essikadohen Nana Nketsia IV, the special guest of honour, praised MTN for supporting the event as well as the Kundum Festival.
