After an eventful stint with the local league, former Accra Hearts of Oak and Okwawu United striker, Ezekiel Tetteh, has established himself in the Sudanese league as a ‘target man.’
Although relatively new in the Sudanese league, the strongman has become a household name after winning the man-of-the-match award twice for his team, Al-Amal SC Atbara.
He has been the main marksman for his side since his arrival from Iraqi side, Kirkuk SC, where he played for two years.
A true ambassador of Ghana, Tetteh’s target for his first season in Sudan is to win the goal king and to make a strong statement to the handlers of the senior national team, the Black Stars, of his readiness to wear the national colours.
Two of his goals against Al-Amir and El-Nsor, have shot him to fame and he told the Graphic Sports that he was not looking back.
‘I think I am ready now to play for the Black Stars and once the opportunity is given me, I will not disappoint,’ the hugely-framed striker stated
Tetteh said the Sudan League was very competitive and suggested to the handlers if they could occasionally direct their attention to that side to monitor talents.
