Ghana prepare for Futsal AFCON in Morocco
Ghana’s Futsal national team have intensified their training regimen at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, as they prepare for the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off from April 11 to 21 in Rabat, Morocco.
The Ghanaian team are preparing for the continental showdown, under the guidance of Coach Philip Boakye.
Ghana have been placed in Group A alongside host and holders Morocco, Angola and Zambia.
The national team will open their campaign against Zambia before taking on defending champions Morocco and complete the group phase against Angola, semi-finalists in the last edition.
The top three teams from the tournament will qualify for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan as CAF representatives.
In Futsal, two teams face each other with five players (four field players and one goalkeeper).
