Handball league midweek thrills

The ongoing handball league enters the fourth week with some interesting midweek fixtures.

Today at the Kansehie Sports Complex at 2p.m, Police play Fire Service in a cagey battle for a place at the top.

Police are currently leading the men’s league, while Fire are third with a four-point difference between them. In the female division, however, Police are second, with Fire being fifth.

Tomorrow at the Prisons Complex, Prisons will clash with Cantonments Youth, while at the Fire Service Academy, Asomdwe take on Navy on Friday.

The rest of the week’s fixtures will see LEKMA engage Renijoe at the Teshie-MATS court on Saturday.

At the Legon handball court, Ghana Air Force will battle Legonites also on Saturday.

Meanwhile, HOSTAC have drawn a bye in this week’s fixtures.
