Hockey: NDK dare Sapholda Sat

The Dwadifo Adanfo Hockey League will enter the fifth week  this Saturday, with a cracker involving league leaders, Sapholda and defending champions, NDK Financiers at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium.

The defending champions, NDK have endured a poor start to the defence of their seniors’ league title and would, therefore, be hoping to record their second win in four games against a free-scoring Sapholda side.

Sapholda have scored a total of 20 and conceded only four goals in three games.

The team, however, have a leaking  defence as  shown in their clash with  Multistix  last week whom they laboured to defeat 4-3.

The match between Sapholda and NDK is the penultimate game of the first round of the league, it also precedes the annual Oguaa Afahye Hockey Fiesta which comes off on Saturday, September 6.

In the other matches, Veterans will search for their first victory when they clash with Citizens,  while  Ark Boys lock horns with Legonites.  Young Financiers will engage La Juniors, with Real Ambassadors locking horns with Tema Youth.
