Title holders Kotoko, who are struggling in the Premier League, will be hoping to successfully defend the title they won last season by going past the in-form Aduana side who are also eyeing a place in the FA Cup final.

The match promises to be action-packed with the Porcupine Warriors determined to avoid another defeat to Aduana after earlier losing 0-1 to the former Premiership champions in the league's opening fixture at the Agyemang Badu Park.

Kotoko coach, David Duncan, is fully aware that defeat to Aduana will not only end his club's ambition of a third straight finals, but also deny them any trophy for the season, especially as they are not in title contention in the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier League.

A fierce battle for supremacy is anticipated between Kotoko players such as Michael Akuffo, Ahmed Toure, Jordan Opoku and Richard Mpong, and the Godfred Saka-led Aduana side, featuring Emmanuel Ansong and national goalie, Stephen Adams.

Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC will clash in the other semi-final game on Sunday at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast.
